Slow Publishing?

We just got updated to Land Desktop 2008. One thing I notice is the first time I publish each day, it takes 2 minutes to open up the initial publish window. It doesn't take as long when I do it other times. Is there a fix for this so it doesn't take so long? Does anyone know the cause? Any help is appreciated. Thanks...

My solution is to only have one layout tab per drawig, use sheetset manager and creat a sheetset, and use map to actually plot the sheetset. Typically if I use LDD it takes forever so I use map and it does not ask to reassociate the project database when it opens each individula drawing. Using sheetsets makes it easy to switch from sheet to sheet also.
