I can't get my title marks to call out correctly. I created my constructs, pulled them into a view. Then I used an AEC Layout Grid 2D to represent my boundary for the extents of my paper space and created a new model space view. When I insert a title mark, all I get is the name of the view, the scale doesn't fill in and when I insert it into a sheet, the view number doesn't fill in either. If I insert it outside of the drawing area, the scale fills in, but not the name or the number. I've checked my scales, all seem to be correct. What am I missing?

Can you post the drawing so we can laug.. umm, look at it??
It would be interesting to have a poll on who is acctually using the constructs and views.. Well, the project manager itself in Autocad Architecture and who isn't using it.
I've always had a problem trying to wrap myself around the concept of the project managers, probably because I tried using it back in my Land Development Desktop days..
Now, in Revit Architecture, it's sweet, easy to understand, and even I can understand it. Now THAT's easy..
Anywho, post it and let us look at it.

Okay, this is going to sound like I'm such an amateur, but how exactly do I post something out of PN since it is all Xref'd? Should I zip it like an etransmit and post it that-a-way? :?

For someone to test a file within your project environment, you would need to zip up the entire project, including the APJ file. You may want to create a test project, and only add the minimum amount of files/objects to duplicate the problem, rather than sending an entire working project.

that's what I thought. Thanks David I'm too busy to mess with a test project right now, but I will.........Iwill...............

Drag and drop baby.
Select all linework (line, text and attributed block) for your titlemark. It can be in model space in the view file or in paper space in the sheet file - it doesn't matter.
Make the sheet tab visible in PN, expand the sheet with the view on it so you can see the view icon that is present on the sheet.
Drag the linework to the view icon under the sheet on the sheet tab and the information will fill out.
Don't drag to fast or you will strip the soul out of your fields and they will not work.
Oh, this works for detail, section and elevation bubbles that don't fill out either.

Please note I have moved this to the Project Navigator forum.

I'm getting tired of saying this, buy you're a genius. Worked like a charm, well, on the ONE plan I've tried it on so far. But it should work on all of them. Is that a bug in the system or what? I thought it should of filled in upon insertion. New problem, why won't my title block sheet number and title fill in?

Okay, I figured it out. I had the sheet number and title nested in my titleblock block. I noticed that the OOTB titleblocks had them "floating" (for lack of a better term). So, I took them out of the block, and inserted them on top of the block and that did the trick. All of my project information worked as part of the block, but for some reason, the sheet number and title can't be part of the block. I hope that made sense. Oh BTW, the drag and drop things works excellent, and now that I'm using it, it makes total sense. This PN thing ain't so bad!

One more quick question. I used a date field in my title block. I know that it has to be updated manually using the updatefield command, but is there a way to do it without opening each sheet? In hind site, I guess I should create all the sheets last, after all plans and details have been drawn, but I didn't so now I need to update all the dates.

If its a field it should update upon opening...
What did you set your field update settings to in Options?

I have them all checked. I read somewhere in here that the date field needs to be manually updated for some reason.
Put the date in your project details and use that field in your titleblock. The changes to project details will update when you save the sheet and will be there when you open it again. Therefore, you can make your plot files without opening every sheet.
