I know there are some general rules for creating multiple component wall style end caps - but I obviously do not have them in my head.
Any one want to let us all in on creating wall endcap styles?

I have a CMU wall with brick on the outside and a foundation below. I need the brick to wrap around the CMU on the end where this wall sticks out to hold a column above. So - the CMU does not change - the brick should wrap around the end of the CMU and down the other side for 10" - the foundation should be offset to accommodate the brick changes around the end.

TIA,
CADmama

These documents should help you out.
Perhaps read the last one first.

CadMama, those "canned" directions are sometimes cryptic and assume the reader has telepathic projection. I have created the endcap style with screen captures attached. My rules are simple.

1. Draw your wall left to right.
2. Record the component number for each component which gets an endcap style.
3. Draw end caps in a counter-clockwise motion with a polyline. Do not close the P-line.
4. I understand that you want the brick to wrap around the end of the CMU and then return 10".
5. Start out on the lower side of the brick and draw your p-line 10" to the right.
6. Continue the line down the screen. I have assumed a 3/8" joint all around the CMU.
7. Draw the p-line to the left 10" and then continue around to the top side of the brick.
8. Start on the bottom side of the CMU and draw the p-line to the right 9 5/8" and then continue to the top side of the CMU.
9. Start your footing at the bottom endpoint and draw it at whatever your offset is from the masonry.

Follow the photos in order, if their names show up, as in wall1, wall2, wall3, etc.

The system allows only 5 uploads, so I will include a 3D view in a separate reply.

How do you get an xref wall and a live wall to clean up?
I have a wall that is a xref. I turned off the attaching wall so the you see an opening. Now I want to add a wall to the xreffed wall and have to look like it is apart of the xreffed wall. I hope that I explained my self clearly.

Here are a sreen shot in the zip file to help show what I want to do..

Thank you,

Brad

If my memory serves me correctly, you are running into a limitation of ADT 3.3. 2005 will allow your XRef walls to clean up. 3.3 will not.

Although you might tinker with an invisible endcap and wipeouts or XClips.

etc etc etc.
Now that is what I am talking about!
