Today I'm working on a really messed up canopy with inside & outside curves.
So I layed out some arcs to represent the curves at the face where we will have a curved channel. All was going well when bending the channel in the weak axis, but once I got to the inside curve the channel flipped and now the toe was pointing out instead of in. So after playing around with the Roll of the memeber (which go me know where) I had to figure out a way to make the channel curve with the toe to the outside of the curve. How'd I do it? Simple.
I selected the channel, did the old "copy and assign new member style" and rotated the channel 180 degrees in the sytle. Blamo it worked like a charm.
So I thought I'd leave a little Trick note on the how to.
Enjoy.
