Tagging Filled Regions

Is there a way to make a tag that will indicate the area of a filled region? The area show up in the Instance Properties but where would be a good point to start to make this type of tag?

I doubt that this is possible, though I would like to be proved wrong. I don't think Revit respects the integrity of 2d drafting features enough to be able to schedule or tag them. Revit wants you to get all your schedule data from actual parametric building elements.

To the best of my knowledge no. Filled regions are detail items and area is not a standard parameter for them. I think this was requested at the same time the area parameter was requested (8.1 or 9) and it was never fullfilled.

Just thought I would ask around since it showed up as an instance parameter, but wasn't really available anywhere.

Oh well, maybe another time.
