hatch on solid

Is it possible to apply hatch to a "Solid" entity in 2002lt

Just to get the ball rolling on this one, am not an LT user therefore the following may not be possible within LT (hopefully a LT user will speak up once they see the rubbish I've written below) -

Within AutoCAD -> Set a UCS to the face of the Solid that you want to Hatch -> ._Bhatch command
