My issue is, I cant open it! Running ABS 07 through a network, and I need to open and plot some .plt files someone sent us. From some research I have found out .plt files are the old .dwf in a sence.
Anyone know how I can open these, perhaps through DWF viewer, or something?

If they are true DWF files, just download Design Review and optionally the batch plot add-on for it.

gstone,
PLT files are the coded information to the type of printer they were originally printed to...
A colour printer generated PLT file will be different to that generated for a monochrome, toner style printer, or printers by different manufacturers...
There have been a few LisP routines about for converting PLT back to DWG but it depends on the original plotter driver/setup used...
We still use PLT files for printing thru' 3rd-party software, for accounting purposes...

DWF, even the original type, is a whole different thing...
Design Review 2008 is not likely to be of any use...
Get the sender to replot to DWF, after all the DWF Writer is a FREE download...
If on a par with AC'07, ABS'07 should enable you to Overlay/Underlay DWF's ; DWFattach...
OR just get DR'08 and proceed from there...
