On a particular machine that I support I am unable to import a .sid file. This file type is not listed when trying to open by going to Map>Image>Insert. This occurred after loading sp1 for AutoDesk Land Desktop 3. I have loaded Land Desktop 3 w/ sp1 on another system and I am able to see this file extension. The only resolution to this problem that I have found on AutoDesk's website pertains to re-installing ACDSee if it is loaded. In this case ACDSee is not loaded. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. I am aware that you are able to convert the .sid file to a .tiff through LizardTech's software, but I am trying to avoid this scenario. Has anyone else seen this happen? Any ideas?
Thanks for the help.
Mike

You may want to back-up a little further, and do a CLEAN install
by removing ALL traces of all autodesk products on your machine.

Also note that Land Desktop 3 is at Service Pack 2, so you may
want to try installing that first to see if it corrects the issue.

I have also tried installing sp2 and that did not correct the issue.
I will try a clean install and see where that leads me.
Thanks.
