Looking for a solution for drawing ductwork and piping. I have test driven Cadpipe and found it to be OK but was wondering if anyone has used Autodesks version. I am currently running ADT 2004.
Thanks!

Not really an add-on so much as a vertical product, have you checked out Building Systems (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=3290681)?
I haven't used it myself, you could ask some questions in the Building systems forum (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=115).

Hi John
Please note I've *moved* this Topic (Thread) from the AutoCAD Customization Forum (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=118) to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such Topics (Threads).
Thanks, Mike

I'm using the Autodesk Building System currently, which is the Autodesk Architectural Desktop with Building Systems(Mech& Elec). Works well & the nice thing about it is that it just basically AutoCAD with extra menus - meaning you can work as simple vanilla CAD but you have the power to do mech. ducting, piping, schematics or elec. work all from one CAD, same drawing - no translations or exporting. Also the learning curve is not difficult for the building systems.
I highly suggest giving it a look, good value for the money in my humble opinion.

Hi there,
I use East Coast Cad (formerly Quickpen Cad) because of its downloading capabilities. We are currently looking at and have two seats for Cadduct. And Cadduct is also downloadable to our plasma torches. Thats a big bonus for us. Quickpen is supposed to come out with a new Autocad/Windows based program???? There is also Intelicad which is pretty much the same as Cadduct and downloads.
