revit architecture trusses family

Hi

I need help please.

I would like to create my own family of trusses using revit architecture.

I tried many templates including generic models .

my biggest problem is when I try to load it into a project it does not load properly.
Can someone out there please help me .I would like to include formula so that if I load it to a new project all Need to change is e.g length or width.I need to know which template must I use .I need step by step guidance .I have been battling for two weeks with this assignment.I need help please.

Hi there Ndousm, I believe you got the program from Cadplan is that correct? If your based in JHB give the JHB office a call and speak to me. I can give a some over the phone advice or even plan to come through to your office.

Thanks guys - but that doesn't really help the rest of us noobs that also are trying to add trusses to our library of families.

Any advise on a tutorial or families I can copy?

Hi there, the problem itself is sometimes better explained in person rather than quick toturial. You can also try looking under the Tutorials section for any socific tutorials if they have been created.
