my plotter will not print yellow and it does a poor job with green. i am plotting to a laser printer. B size. i have tried to change all of the layers, text and so forth that are yellow to some other color like red or black. this brings me to my question... autodesk must have a reason for yellow layers... what am i doing wrong here?
on the color laser printer the yellow is barely visible and when i plot in greyscale or to the other laser printer that is not color the yellow just does not show up at all.
i am using mechanical desktop but i also have the same problem with autocad.

thanks

You know you can edit your post to add missed details :)

Have you checked your ctb files? Have you tried to print to the color laser jet with another program, like Powerpoint? This will help pinpoint if it is an AutoCAD problem or a printer problem

that did the trick
ctb files are something that i had not known about... fixed everything... now i have to go back and set my colors back to their defaults...

thanks so much

No problem. And you didn't really have to go back to edit your posts, just letting you know for future reference ;)
