Unable to select CTB from drop-down list in AutoCAD 2004

Okay, I am trying to plot something in model space and i need to select the proper CTB. So, I scroll through to find the CTB I need, I select the CTB and it selects the wrong one (that stupid 2004 glitch), then I go back to select it again and the CTB is no longer in the selection list. Where did it go? How do I get it back? I am mapped to the right folder under "plot style support path" and I know the CTB is in that folder. Thank you to anyone who might be able to solve this mystery for me.
