I think not. I have a few ideas about how to speed up revit during working with revit files.

1.) Run multiple sessions , 2 for example and run them exclusively on multiple or quad cores since the present version as of jan 16th 2008 doesn't support multi-threading.
Can u already do this?
2.) save the revit file that you currently work on to the local file, slowly as you work, when system resources are available. This could reduce save times?

Are there any ideas out there about how to increase the performance speed of revit?

Oh further will running revit on 64 bit vista when revit starts supporting, it increase performance?

I bet Speedie will use Revit... but he'll need the latest hardware to keep up.

Please note I have moved this from the New Users (Non-Technical Forum) to the Revit - Platform General Questions forum.

What about Speedy Alka-Seltzer? Alberto Gonzalez?

Questions remain.
