I had a drawing scanned into a TIF file which I am using as a background for some floor framing plans. These are 24X36 files and are only about 90kb. They will plot on my 9400 OCE fine occasionally but usually come out rotated and only a partial plot.

Any suggestions?

Hi

What plotter driver are you using ie Heidi / Windows ?

Is the Oce 9400 firmware up to date? (we had to go down that road to resolve an number of issues/problems with our Oce Plotters).

Remember the drawing file size maybe small but the plot file won't be (unless the image file itself is very small); Image files work in a similar fashion to xref's (unless you've actually embedded the image file within the drawing file) ie not really part of the drawing, just a link within the drawing file that points to the actual image file.

Just for you info we use an Oce 9400 in the office -> Firmware up to date -> Heidi HP driver (650C) recommended by Oce themselves -> with this setup we've experienced no real issues/problems (touch wood); that definitely wasn't the case before.

Have you tried the Oce web site -

Have a good one, Mike
