Summary: Bring back the LDT Symbol Manager.

Description: I would like to be able to insert my custom blocks and suvery symbols the old way through (Symbol Manager)

How Used: Insert user defined and autodesk symbols into topo drawings, traffic drawings and other municipal related drawings.

I use the tool palette for my company symbols. We never used the LDT symbols. We created our own.

It could see where it would be important to companies that used the old LDT symbols to have access to them in Civil 3D. Maybe it would be sufficient if Adesk added them to a tool palette.

Symbol Manager was/is much more powerful than tool palettes. A clumsy interface, with the real power buried several layers down, and requiring some programming skill to really gain benefits, but overall a better way to 'manage' symbology and blocks than tool palettes are. Palettes are getting better, but still badly hampered in that no logic can be applied to modify symbol insertion or placement.
