Why is the parcel menu in Acad 2008 LDD Companion different than the parcel menu in 3D? Can I use the parcel menu in 3D to make my parcels, then work on the drawing in 08 LDD Companion?
The office is not changing to 3D till summer and I would like to use the automation of the parcel command in 3D to produce my subdivsion. Any ideas? Thanks.

Land Desktop and Civil 3D are different applications.

You can export the parcels to a LandXML file, then import them into Land Desktop, but you will lose many of the features particular to C3D when you do this.

You can also import parcels created in LDT into C3D. There is a command in C3D to do this, without having to make a LandXML file in LDT.
