I've noticed that when moving or selecting annotative text, that it seems to show every text scale associated to it. Is there a way so it doesn't do that. It really becomes irritating when trying to edit things and you get this large text that isn't even displayed on the screen.
Thanks.

This is controlled by the variable "annoallvisible". Default value is 1, if you set it to 0, you will only see the current scale.
From the help file:
Hides or displays annotative objects that do not support the current annotation scale
0
Only annotative objects that support the current annotation scale are displayed
1
All annotative objects are displayed
The ANNOALLVISIBLE setting is saved individually for model space and each layout.
NoteWhen ANNOALLVISIBLE is set to 1, annotative objects that support more than one scale will only display one scale representation.
Hope this answers your issue.

Unfortuantely that doesn't work. I was aware of the variable, but it was a good thought. It seems that with it turned on or off, when going to move anything, all scale appear. This might be a request that has no solution.

Use this variable.
selectionannodisplay
This controls whether alternate scale representations are temporarilly displayed in a dimmed state when an annotative object is selected.

It works for me. I set selectionannodisplay to 0, and only the current scale show up whether I'm just selecting it or moving it.
AHHHHHHH never mind!!!
AUGI is double posting stuff again.
You're welcome!

Thanks for the information as well. I'll incorporate that variable into the startup routine.
