I am trying to install Inventor 2008 Suite on my computer at work, and I keep getting the following error message:

Error 29001. Vault Management Error: The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive.

What's going on? I've already installed 11 others, and no one else but me has this problem. I got the following answer from Autodesk Discussions:

Issue

During the installation of Autodesk Data Management Server (ADMS), you received the following error message:
Error 29001: Underlying connection was closed

Solution

To resolve this error

Click Start menu (Windows) > Settings > Control Panel.
In Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools.
In Administrative Tools, double-click Computer Management.
Expand the Local Users and Groups folder.
Right-click the Users folder. Click New User.
In the New User dialog box, do the following:
In the User Name field, enter AutodeskVault
In the Password field, enter Padnammunhoy467
Clear the User Must Change Password at Next Logon check box.
Select the Password Never Expires check box.
Click the Create button.
Close each dialog box and restart the installation of ADMS.
I tried this, and it didn't work. I even restarted, tried again, and it still didn't work. I don't know what else to do. I'm pretty new to Inventor, so any help would be awesome.

One trick is to try installing SQL Express first, and letting ADMS plug into it. This may fix the problem (even if it doesn't it may give you a better idea where the failure is).

There is a folder for it under on the Inventor DVD (I'd tell you where, but I'm afraid I don't have my DVDs handy).

I'd suggest that and see if that helps.

There's a ton of other solutions located on the ADSK website here, (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/usearch/results?la=en&nh=10&col=wacjprd&col=usuppprd&siteID=123112&catID=123155&id=2088334&qt=29001&x=0&y=0) But they can take a while to sort out. I'd probably try the SQL first.
