Embedding Fonts

In AutoCAD it is possible to embed a font in a text string using “\\f:ARchitxt|b0|i0|c0|p2|;NEW TEXT”. Is there a way to do something like this in Revit. I tried the string above but it did not work. Any ideas?

Revit uses True Type Fonts, not SHX fonts liek AutoCAD does. These fonts are just like any other windows font. They must be on the machine to use them. If you are sending a Revit file to someone else, they must have the font on the machine to view it, or you could send it to them (after checking copyright issues, of course)
