C-purlin

Hi,
I have created a C-purlin family (Australian) but some of the restrictions must be wrong as it doesn't behave properly.
I have been going through it and can't figure out where the problem is.
Would appreciate if someone could have a second look

Hi,
Revised rfa file attached, just a couple of small mistakes and easily missed the first time.

1) Your profiles need to have there origin defined; (the default profile template has the horizontal reference plane origin tick box turned off).

2) You need to constrain your profiles so they maintained a constant insert point, open the profile in the attached rfa to see what I have done.

(I haven’t tested this in a project so it may still have a few bugs)

I had a look at the what you did - adding the EQ dimensions to lock it in to position.
I wouldn't have picked up that the ref planes had the origin turned off. It make sense though.
