I'm trying to create a CSV text lookup table to determine lumens based on the lamp chosen. However, when I try to use the command on a unitless number parameter I get an "Inconsistent Units" error. I've tried both Lumens##number## and Lumens##other## with no success.
Anyone have any ideas what I might be missing?
Here are the files I'm trying to use.
(Rename Lighting Table.txt to .csv as I can't upload csv files for some reason)

Matt,
I don't have your answer, I have not worked with the lookup tables. But I have a question. Why go to all of that trouble when all it can do is a zonal cavity calc on the lights?

Model building. You've got 13W, 18W, 26W Twin tubes, 13,18, 26, 32,42 Triples, T5's, T8's Metal Halides etc etc. Rather than build a model for each lamp within a family, I'm trying to use these and type catalogs to both simplify model building and give the most freedom to use the appropriate fixture.

Point well taken, We decided that until Revit can do point by point calcs, we will use generic fixtures that carry the proper load for circuiting.

In case anyone else is trying to figure out something like this:
You can't do text in the lookup files. You can only do it using parameters with units (e.g. length). You can divide out length eventually and work around it, but it's more trouble than it's worth.
Hopefully they'll fix this someday.

I was just browsing through when I saw your post, you are correct you cannot use unitless numbers or text. however, seeing what you are trying to accomplish, there is a definite pattern in the variables you want to achieve. have you tried writing an if, then statement for each situation and interlinking them and making them dependent on eachother? I also wish you could have the choice of something besides a csv maybe like an xls? something you can lock . . . hint hint. there are many posts about conditional statements and things of that nature on here. hth.
