The problem is when I go through and define all my pipe runs and import the finish draft plan and then go out and come back into the drawing and try to edit a run this message comes up and some how the runs are not there.
Run nodes does not equal db nodes.; error: Exception occurred: 0xC0000005
(Access Violation)

General Exception occurred, caught in acrxEntryPoint() in
AecCivilPipeworksApp.cpp

When I display all the runsin the drawing it shows them there, but when trying to edit them it doesn't allow me to. Help

I would try this process after you exit the file
and then re-open it.

Set your desired surface current (for calculating the rims and inverst)
Set the alignment current
Set the profile current
Then attemp to edit the pipe data.

This could also indicate your project description in project details is
too long.

Or you edit your structure library, and your pipes.dfm or
your sdsk.dfm file has become corrupted (imagine that)

Open thoose dfm files and look for erroneous data, such as 1=1=1=1=1=1.

Michael I tried what you said but to no luck. I also don't see any errors I'm stumped and annoyed I might as well do the calculations by hand it's seems that I would be ahead but I doubt it. Thanks Anyone else? At this point I will try anything.

Export your pipe runs zip them up and ship them to me
(see my profile for email address)
Also send the coordinate limits of your project and the mean
elevation, so that I can fake a surface for it to calc from.
Or use Export XML and send me the surface that you are using
for the rims. And the project name,
I will attemp to debug from here. It may be something in the
pipes database needs to be sorted out.

Also there are issues if your surface has vertical faces in it.
Bring in your surface display slope banding and verify that
is not the case. (note: vertical faces are permitted if built using
proper tools)
