-Using ACAD 2007 generating figures for Technical Manuals
-Display background is set to black
-Attempting to display characters on Solid Hatched background for pushbuttons.
-Using Solid hatching for the background, properties color is white which really prints black when using the printer
-Using Arial font whose property color is black which should print white
-When printing all I get is the black hatching, the characters do not print
-I have tried commands "Draworder" and "Texttofront" which I have found referred to have the text written preferred over the hatched backgrounds with no real improvements
So, are there settings for either the hatching density, line widths, font, etc which could be changed to show print characters on a dark background? Technical publication is in Black & White, characters need to be readable against a dark background
Thanks in advance!

Black color property will usually print black unless you set a different color in your plot style configuration. If you want to print white, use color 255 as the text color, and use draworder to bring it in front of the hatch object. Lastly, make sure color 255 will print as color 255 in your plot style configuration.
