What is the best way to produce details?

1. Use a callout view do a edit cut profile and add detail components.
2. Use a callout view as a background and redraw everythig on top.

We do a combination of both. It depends on how accurately we can model what we want seen in the detail. Concrete framing is very easy to model "correctly" so what you see in this example is mostly model elements with some drafting lines and detail components added.
