Unhandled Exception

When I define the alignment from polyine in acad civil 3d ld companion 2008, I got the following error message:

Unhandled Exception C0000005 (Access Violation Reading 0x31fd) at address C63AAFCh

Anyone out there knows what happen and how to fix it.

Could be any number of things.

Does this happen with every polyline, in every drawing, in every project?
Even in the Tutorial projects?

Yes even with tutorial project I can't define the alignment from polyline. The one I posted before is a new drawn polyline for existing project. Both got the same error message. I still don't know why. Is it possible because I have both 2006 and 2008 land desktop installed?

I have 2005, 2006, and 2008 installed. That can't be the problem.

Do you have another computer to try this on?
