apply template settings to existing project file

Is it possible to apply the setting in a template file to a project already created? If so how?

Sorry, pushed for time - but investigate 'transfer project standards" bearing in mind that it doesnt work for 'tags' - you will have to update those through the 'settings' 'annotations' 'loaded tags' pull down menu
