Place Tag into Schedule

Is it possible to place a tag into a schedule and have it update.

For example, I have a Footing Schedule where the last column is used for the reference detail. It would be great if I could place an update-able tag.

Is it possible? I think the answer is no but it's worth trying.

Nope, schedules can only contain text characters, or symbols if they are available on the particular font's character map.
