Hi,
I work in an office where we are having issues with xref reloads. We have carrier sheets that have multiple xref's attached to them and when one of the multiple xref files are saved and the carrier sheet asks for a reload, not a probelm there, but when the reload is permitted the xref manager will reload all the xrefs attached to the carrier sheet regardless if the other xrefs attached were not modified or saved. Is there a setting for only the xref that was saved to be the only reloaded?
Thanks

You could right click on the affected file in the Xref manager and reload just that drawing.

Oh one thing I forgot to mention. This happens when the "External Reference file has changed" bubble comes up and we select it. So we never really go into the xref manager to reload the xref.

When my bubble pops up, it has the file that was changed in the bubble. It's underlined like a link. I just click it and it reloads that file. If more than one file has changed, then it says "reload all files" or something like that. Oh yeah, I'm using ACA, maybe that has something to do with it.
Anyway, I think the xref manager is your only option. I undock mine and keep it hidden over to one side. That way it's outta the way and easily accessible.

It sounds like you may have multiple people working on different x-refs at any particular time. Hence the confusion over which x-refs need to be reloaded. The safest way is to use the xref manager. It will show you which drawings need to be reloaded. Mine is always open and on my second monitor. Acad 07 also has the bubble notification with the x-ref in question underlined but it can lead to accidents if you don't know what drawings are being worked on. clicking on it only re-loads that particular file shown though.
