View Full Version : Is it True, no "SwitchBack" feature for Revit?

On reading features of NavisWorks 2009, it said "SwitchBack opens the current clash in the original design software. (Compatible with AutoCAD 2004® software and later or Microstation J and version 8 )"

It seams hard to believe this isn't working in Revit. Anyone try it?

No it does not work in 2009, it's on the wishlist though...maybe 2010

Thanks for the response, David. Though probably unlikely, I'll still hope for a patch later this year to add the functionality. Actually it would be nice to see Autodesk make a push to get this functionality working on all programs NavisWorks can open.

Would be nice but I wouldn't hold your breath, Autodesk seems to have taken the stance that all new features are held back for the yearly releases, for example we used to get quite a few new features in Revit with the point releases (9.1 for example) with 2008 we didn't even get a point release. Not complaining or speaking for Autodesk, it's just been my observation...
