Creating Hatches?

I have seen a couple threads about importing and creating hatches, but they don't explian how to do it. I cannot figure it out! I am trying to create a Spanish tile hatch, for a hand sketched-type drawing. I was thinking to find the hatch files and copy one, and then change it to spansih tile, but I can't find the files. I don't know if this would work anyway.
