This tip is for new users (not you old timers !)
When two walls cross (+): in order to clean up the walls I had been slicing each side of the wall, deleting the small segment and then stretching the sliced wall to join the other one. I found out that just one slice at the intersection of the walls will make the walls join and clean up automatically.
