I have made occasional use of Raster Design since loading in 2005 on Acad2005 Mechanical and have had no problems. However when using it a short time back found that it crashed for no accountable reason. Loaded Service Pack 1 to see if that would help. No crashes until I went to print a drawing. Every time I tried to print either to a laser printer or internally to .pdf it failed.

I sent the file to a local Autodesk dealer who had no problem printing so the file was ok.

Since I could not remove SP1 I removed Raster Design and reloaded from the original disk.

When I went to run it I got an error message
"C:\Program Files\Raster Design 2005\AeciUi41.arx cannot find a procedure that it needs." and the program did not load.

I've tried repairing and reinstalling several times since, have spoken to the dealer who can't help, and have had no success. The message never changes!

Does anyone have any suggestions?

RK - Thank you for the response.

The AutoCad Raster Design Services & Support lead looked hopeful. However I was only able to find the listed NCS*.dll files in the acad shared group and in an "Irfanview" photographic program. Changed the names in the Irfanview program but as expected there was no change. Incidentally I did not find a Winnt\system32 directory but there were a lot of .dll files in a Windows\system32 directory so I assume that was where they would have been.

I've run out of time tonight and will work through the AutoDesk Discussion Group fix tomorrow.

Will keep you posted - and once again thank you for the leads.

Also, make sure the correct support paths for ARD are in your AutoCAD support file search paths.
