Dear All,
Dose anyone face this problem: when you undo a command, LDT 2005 REGEN the drawing.
I heard that from my customer, but I can't test LDT 2005 at this moment. But I found many complaint about this issue on Autodesk Discussion Group.
Any information?

Jesse, why not give your customer the address for AUGI,
or is this person paying you for support services?
What that individual is encountering is outlined in these
(un-updated) documents:

The second one more that the first.

Since in my country people using Traditional Chinese, so many of them not familiar with English. As a reseller, we have to solve their problems(also our problems)
For the information you provided, it's all about old version, so won't give us much help.
The problem is about LDT 2005, or should be Land Enable Map 2005's problem. Can you try it for us? Do some drawing then UNDO it, it will REGEN all drawing. It's very annoyed when a large drawing file is encountered.

What is the setting for the variable "REGENAUTO", is this turned on? You may need to redefine the UNDO command to add a check for the variable setting, save it to a variable, perform the UNDO's and then set it back to what is was before you ran the command. This way, the actions would be transparent, but if they cancel out of the UNDO, make sure you have some code to check and reset the REGENAUTO back.

As stated the documents were un-updated
however they do apply to your issue.
The real solution lies in improving the process involved
so that users are not using undo. Also a note to them
UNDO only undoes AutoCAD commands and does not
remove entries commited to the Land Desktop database.
Also of note if these users are in fact working in Land Enabled MAP
why are they not querying in a smaller data set to work with?

I thought his message said to do something in the drawing and then UNDO. This sounds like like REGENAUTO

Without seeing the data and the process, we're throwing darts at tadpoles.
I'm reasonably certain the issue is as outlined in the documents I posted.
The users issue with them is they don't say Land 2005 at the top.
However as many of us know, the core AutoCAD is new, while Land Desktop
was not measurably changed or improved since Softdesk 8.0.
In short the problems that existed in 8.0 still exists in Land 2005,
along with some new feature's that make life interesting.
