I am havin a couple of problems with my cad. A few of them are just very irritating and something that I dont know if there is an easy fix for the problem.
1. I open 08 then later load raster. after that when I select multipule objects and trying to grip edit the objects. I can only grip one grip at a time. Holding shift on my key board dose not allow you to select multiple grips to move edit whatever... however if I do not load raster it works normal. My shift key allows me to grip multiple objects.
2. kinda the same as above. When I select multiple objects and want to remove one or two from my selection set I can not just hold down my shift key to remove the objects. I have to type In "R" to go to the remove part of my command to have the objects removed.
The part of this that is strange is that Shift still locks my ortho on and off??? But will not function when I am trying to grip or remove objects from my selection set. that or I do not load raster.
3. The other main problem that I have been having with 08 was my dialogue boxes. For some reason after using auto cad for a while I will try to use a command such as "_style" "op (short for options)" "spell check"... the command bombs out and I get nothing. It is almost like the command dose not exist. I tried to use the drop down menus as well and nothing. I would have to try to use different commands to get around it. like for the "_style" I would have to go thru the "dim" dialogue box and edit the text style or create a new style thru that. That or I have to do it thru the command "-style" and create it thru memory in the command box. I don’t know if this is a raster thing or if this is a CAD thing???
I do know the short fix is to save kill auto cad and restart it but.... again highly irritating
