AEC Structural Members

I am currently writing my first ever lisp program which incorporates inserting AEC (ADT 2005) Structural Members.

I am having a problem getting the program to insert them at the correct Z level when running it from a plan view (It works fine if you are in an isometric view!).

Has anyone encountered the same problem and managed to resolve it?

AFAIK, customization of ADT via Visual LISP is "unsupported". The language of choice is either VBA, C++, or .NET (maybe).
