How Used: When several versions of a base component differing only slightly from each other are required there should be an option to "derive all associated documents" (idw's). This option would leave all common features associative to the base component and carry all common, view related data into a full set of drawings for each version of the part. Only the version-specific features would need documenting in the derived drawings thereby saving a great deal of time.
