We have a project where the user cannot rename any of the files. When we try, the attached message appears saying the project is currently being repathed. All the current xref paths seem to be OK and the button to force a repath is grayed out. No one esle has the project open. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Sorry, I meant to add that we are using ACA2009.

I've never seen this. If it's been going on for a long, long time, it may be hung up. I'd try restarting ACA.

Close the project and ACA, then relaunch ACA and open the project? Does that help?

No luck with that. We rebooted the computer, and tried opening the project on a different machine, but the problem persisted. This morning I had a brainstorm and copied an archive of the project to a different directory. When I opened it, it did a re-path and fixed the problem. Unfortunately, when I went to delete the original project, there was one of those pesky dwl2 files that you can’t get rid of. I’ve seen several posts, but no real solution to how to get rid of these. JTB World blog says running the WHOHAS command will delete the file, but this hasn’t worked for me. Has anyone solved this? Thanks for your replies.
