I've recently come across a programme designed to "write 100% of you LISP programs for you..." (http://www.4front.com/lispgen/index.html)

Being a bit of a rookie with Lisp and VBA, a bit of software like this would save loads of time and effort for myself and all the other CAD monkeys in the office. Would anyone put any stock into software like this, and if so, does anyone know of a shareware or freeware programme boasting the same?

Cheers

I have no comment about that specific software, although I have my doubts as to its functionality. IMHO, "macro recorders" are nice to help you see how something might be done, but a true programmer will usually produce far more robust code. However, to help you learn, maybe. You will probably get better instruction by asking for help on specific code tasks here. (I am not advocating "anybody got..." type questions, rather, here is where I'm stuck in my code type questions!)
