Attribute extraction to file

I'm back again with a question about attribute extraction. I tried using the attout, but I noticed that i don't get the device x,y corrdinates.Is there a code I can add to attout that will give me the corrdinates?

Try either ._EATTEXT or ._DATAEXTRACTION, depending on what version of AutoCAD you are using.

I'm running 2008 currently. I have tried the attribute extraction, it keeps wanting to over write my template file. Is there a way to have it use the drawing folder name as the output file name. I would like to have a lisp version of the Eattext tool.
