Is it possible to set up a script (Maxscript?) that will take my current scene and open it in 32-bit max and send it to the render farm any time I use network rendering? Right now to allow my workstation to render with the rest of the nodes, I have to open my scene up in Max 32-bit to send to backburner. I'd like to automate this, but I'm not script-literate.

I'm not sure i'm understanding completely. You can, already, send a network rendering job whenever you want from your workstation...and if you are included in the server list then your machine will start rendering...even if there is a session of MAX open already. Let me know if i really am not understanding this.

My workstation is 64-bit, so I use the 64-bit max to do everything. All my render nodes are 32-bit. max sp2 gives the option for 32-bit or 64-bit rendering, but not both. So when I go to net render an image, my machine will be left out of the available servers, as I choose the 32-bit backburner option.
To circumvent this, I save my scene and open it up with max 32-bit, then start my net render from there. But this is a pain if I'm just doing a test render. I'd like it to save the scene (with the current render settings), open it up in max x32, start the net render, then close. I'd like it to do this any time I use net rendering.
Is that possible? Or is there an easier way?
