I'm having a similar/same problem to Sandeepk...
I can plot the same drawing (from a shared central network) from my computer, and one of my co-workers can plot it from his computer, and the printed lines will be thicker/darker on his print than mine.
The .ctb files on both machines are un-edited and all Plot settings appear to be the same.
Using LT 2000, printing with an HP Laserjet 2300d, which was just replaced this week, the old printer and new printer both had the same discrepency, so I think I've ruled out a printer problem...
I'd love to get my lines printed just a bit darker like they come out from the other computer, especially when doing some of my color prints... Any idea where else I should look?

Updated to add some more info...

We've tested this on 2 different printers, and the different lines thicknesses is still present.
However; when the drawing are imported as an object into an Excel spreadsheet, both computers print identically... thinner lines... So my assumption is it has to be an AutoCAD setting somewhere that I don't know about or have accidently changed. Oh, and the lineweights on the drawings are all set by layer, at default.

I take it you don't have the scale lineweights box checked ??

Do you mean the box in the .ctb settings where it says "scale lineweights for non-ISO linetypes"? No, it is not checked. I'm using the default setting on the Greyscale.ctb
Plotting Display
Centered Plot
Plot with Plot Styles
Scaled to Fit

It's not a horrible problem, and it hasn't caused any trouble yet, but it would be beneficial if I could plot from my computer with the slightly thicker lines (because the only other way is to adjust the lineweights to 0.30 mm, and that's way to thick for some of the complex drawings with lots of dimensions), and can't get the company to invest in a plotter because we don't do any blueprints here, only production drawings based off blueprints from our customers, can't even get an upgrade beyond 2000 LT.... but working on it.

We've also gotten out new printer, HP Laserjet P2015, same condition...
