Buzz,
I'd like to encourage you to be careful about your wording.
...Revit Families: Trane Units

Sounds like you are saying that GenuiSoft produced these for public use, and that is not the case. Trane paid for and supervised the creation of these families and is itself providing them free for download. It's poor manners to download someone else's work and use it for your own advertising purposes on http://www.geniusoftllc.com/families/ . Neither your post here on AUGI, nor your blog, nor the company web site mentions that you got the files somewhere else.
http://trane.com/losangeles/ works to find the download directly from Trane, look to the lower right hand side of the page (see the attached screenshot).
For anyone who is interested in using these families I recommend that you go to Trane's web site to "Register for Updates". As always, there are sure to be ongoing changes to the files. I have also heard a rumor that the you will soon be able to download the project file as well as the family, that way you will be able to use the pre-made smart Revit schedule in your construction documents as well.
Hey Joel,
I appreciate the info. I did not download the files from Trane's website and I did search for it and never found the link, so thank you for sharing it. I was e-mailed these Families from a Trane representative so I assure you I meant no harm by not supplying a link, I simply didn't know where the link would point to.
I will update my site to reflect your comments.
Thanks again!

It's worth noting that York package A/C's have been available for a while now at http://rezine.net
It doesn't look like that link is to mvparts, just normal .dwg files (which many manufacturers have available for download) - or am I not seeing something?
mvparts consist of a .dwg, .xml, and .bmp file and include many inherit part properties - these are what are sold at http://www.geniusoftllc.com

Ah, saw it now (on the left side) - those are Families (the GeniuSoft site has mvparts).
I don't know if I will include more of these free Families on my site, since it caused some confusion.

Hey Joel,
I was looking back at the e-mail that I got and I also have some chillers like the Trane "Series R Helical Rotary Liquid Chiller" Family - I can't find any link to this on Trane's website - do you know where it is?

I can't find the chillers. Can you please give us link to it. Thanks!
