combining assembly's where road tapers

I'm currently working on a project where the road tapers from 41' to 29'. I have created an assembly for both but cannot get it to show right on the drawing? Please let me know if anyone can be of assistance

You can use target eop/log alignments to describe the taper. Then set the outside width of the pavement subassembly to target the eop alignment.

Depending on medians ect this technique may eliminate the need for multiple assemblies.
