Error Opening dwg with autcad 2009

Hi All,

am using Windows XP Professional with SP3 , and have just upgraded from autocadLT 2005 to 2009, and getting an error message trying to open an unzipped dwg file.
Error: Windows cannot find c:\unzipped\filename\filename\filename.dwg. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and try again.

Any suggestions ?

Can you see the file in Explorer or MyComputer?
Or are you viewing the content of the zip file? (unlikely)
Is ".../filename/filename/..." in the middle of the path actually correct?

I get the same error message. The strange thing is that the file does open with no problems, but the "Windows cannot find... Make sure the path and filename are correct" still pops up and i have to OK out of it.

Has anyone experienced this and figured out how to get rid of it?

I've seen this several times -- & have no idea what causes it. My suspicion is that the actual system error generated is ssomething completely different from the message in the alert box.

Seems to be just a minor bug, a programmer's error either in MS or Adesk. Since it doesn't seem to affect anything I've just been ignoring it.
