I've set up an annotative text style in a drawing. I've copied some sample text using this style to a tool palette. When I use the palette to place text in a new drawing, the annotative property seems to be 'off' by default.

I would like it to be set to on. How can I do this using the palette?

Thanks,

Jason

Have you verified that the text style does not exist in the new drawing before making the attempt?

Yes, I've verified that the style does not exist.
If the style exists in the new drawing, then dragging the text from the palette gives the desired result. Text on the palette behaves differently than blocks, where the blocks are pulled from a source drawing, I'm not really sure where the text is coming from. There is no source drawing path in the properties of the palette like there is for blocks. Yet, it's setting the correct style that I've created in 'new' blank drawings that don't have that style. That is, everything but the annotative property.

Thanks,

Jason.

You will probably need to open a support case with Autodesk on this issue. Hopefully you are on Subscription and can do so.
