Hello all,
I am trying to understand the layermapping file for exporting to DWG.
When using a template one sees for walls the list as shown below.
Four (sub)categories can be found in the Object styles (walls, analytical model, common edges and hidden lines, but all the other ones not.It is not clear to me how this works, are these others not used...
It seems that in a Plan View
1. The Function of the wall is read. This determines on which layer the outer edge of the wall is placed
2. The wall components (layers) interior edges are placed on the layer mapped to Walls - Common edges
3. Finally, the hatch is put on the layer mapped to Walls - Cut pattern
And what happens with Exisiting, Demolished and New. These are also items in the layer mappings files....
I figured out that when Phase Filter is set to None, the layers do not get the Phase in the layername added (New, Demolished, Existing). But if the filter is set, the layermapping is added to the layername at the end.
Greetings, Renzo
