Corridors to Surfaces to 3ds Max

I'm new to AutoCad Civil 3d, so this might be a stupid question.
I created a Corridor with a roadway, curbs, barriers, and daylight systems. And I want to be able to bring it in to 3ds Max. What I have been trying is under "Corridors-Utilitys-Create detach Surfaces from Corridors" But when I use this tool It creates the whole corridors surface one layer. Is there a way to make it multi layers so I would have to separate the it in 3ds Max

One thing to try would be to create seperate surfaces for each region you need in 3ds max. You can create a seperate surface for each link in the corridor properties. Next to the button you used to create your surface is anothe button. Try that.
