Why is it that making a roof on a non-box building in Architecture is so chaotic and frustrating? Roof Slab doesn't help much either. Didn't you say that "Architecture is made for architects", or something like that? True, it does have some cool stuff on it, however it doesn't have glass block, though. I had to shrink down a picture window to 8"x8" and use the Anchor command, which is pretty slick, once you figure out which direction it's going. I did find some 2d glass blocks, which look professional, but when I went into a different view, I couldn't even see them. Do I need to go into "Object Display" and change the plan and model entities? I did this with the ceiling fans from Design Center because I had to be in an isometric view before I could see them. (thanks to an effective answer from Autodesk support)
P.S. Do you still make Architecture, since Revit's "top dog" now?
Would it be possible to make Revit more of an easy transition from Architecture?

have you tried using a curtain wall and creating a glass block wall? Here's one. Let me know what you think.

Well Dans post above points you in the direction of where to find a glass block curtain wall style. ACA has its limitations sure (as does Revit and other software packages), but instead of a knee jerk reaction that something can't be done, you may want to ask your questions in these forums and also utilise the search facility (http://forums.augi.com/search.php), there are a lot of knowledgeable folk on here are willing to help you out.

If you've decided to make the transition over to Revit then the guys over in the Revit forums (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=93) will be equally willing to try and answer your questions, plus there are ATP courses (http://www.augi.com/education/default.asp?page=728) and AU handouts (http://www.augi.com/education/auhandouts.asp?page=726) available, along with Regional Cad Camps (http://www.augievents.com/) and AU itself (http://www.augi.com/autodeskuniversity/default.asp), also perhaps enquire about the training services offered by your local Autodesk Reseller.
