OK so im having trouble with something basic. How do I get a driveway going from the bottom of the hill that my house sits on top of, to the entryway of the garage door?

I'd try using a sloping pad. What I sometimes do is create a flat pad that cuts the shape of the driveway and set a floor above it for the driveway.

simple to use either a topo surface or a in place family... either will work... the in place family is easier to meld with existing walls etc... but the top surface may offer more flexibility for multiple level variants along the grade of the driveway...
