Hi all
I have recently (today, in fact) moved offices to join the 3D team of our merged architectural practices. Both offices locations now use the same network so I can access all my old files, which is cool and groovy. My problem is that having set up my system in the new offices and having had all the paths mapped to the various locations for files etc. I find that although I can open Max, create a model, save it and close the program, when I attempt to re-open the file (or in fact any existing max file) the program crashes with an error window opening (see attachment). After OK'ing the window to close it, the application hangs and I have to ctrl alt delete to shut it down.
The script file I think the error window refers to is an export facility to allow Sketchup models to be imported into Max and then I can export in a format for Kerkythea that will allow me to use animated camera paths.
Anybody had any similar problems and if so what did they do to solve them?
